Kasaragod: The body of a labourer from Madhya Pradesh, who had drowned in the sea at Kiyoor, was found on Saturday March 11.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Rathod (26), a resident of Madhya Pradesh. Ajay Rathod, a marble labourer, was taking a bath in Kiyoor on Wednesday March 8 when four of his companions escaped from the sea.
The search was carried out by the Fire Brigade, Coastal Police Force, fishermen and civilians. Meanwhile, the body was found on the beach in Chembarika on Saturday.
The Melparamba Police conducted a mahazar.
