Kasargod: A youth was killed in a road accident between a scooter, an autorickshaw and a car in Vidyanagar here. The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Shakir (21), from Bilal.
Shakir was rushed to a hospital in Kasargod on Sunday May 23 evening. He succumbed without responding to the treatment. The autorickshaw which caused the accident was seized but the car escaped without stopping.
Shakir, a Gulf employee, came to the town sometime ago and opened a mobile service store in Kasargodu. The Vidyanagar police have registered a case.
