‘Experience in writing text books benefits teachers and students’

Mangaluru: “The experience, a teacher gets helps in the form of writing text books will ultimately benefit other teachers and the student community,” Rev. Fr. Rocky Ravi Fernandes, Principal of Rosario College, Mangaluru said on Wednesday. He was speaking at the college premises after releasing a text book for B.Com students “Financial Accounting VI” written by Prof. Karunakar Nayak, HOD of Commerce, M.S.R.S College, Shirva.

Dr. Ummappa Poojary, President, Association of Mangalore University College Teachers(AMUCT) released another book by the author “Financial Accounting IV” (Revised Edition) on this occasion and wished the author all the success. The programme was organized by the Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association (MUCTA) in the college campus during the time of central valuation.

President of MUCTA Dr. Ashalatha Suvarna presided over the function and welcomed the guests. The programme was compered by Dr. Herald Monis, secretary of MUCTA. Prof Subbappa K, Treasurer of MUCTA proposed the vote of thanks.
