‘Lungi’ all set to be released in 50 multiplexes and 80 cinema theatres: Mukesh Hegde

Mangaluru: Kannada movie, with a hint of Tulu culture, “Lungi” is all set to hit silver screens on October 11. The film has been produced by Khara Entertainment.

Speaking more about the movie to media persons, producer Mukesh Hegde said that the movie was directed by Arjun Lewis and Akshith Shetty, and that the story, dialogues, and lyrics were written by Arjun Lewis.

“Impressed by the trailer of the movie, Venkat Vijay from the Telugu film industry has bougth the remake rights for a good price. This is a proud moment for us”, said Mukesh Hegde.

The movie will be released by Jayanna Combines in 50 multiplexes and 80 cinema theatres across the state.

The team said that the movie will be released in local theatres such as Prabhat, Big Cinemas in Bharat Mall, Cinepolis in City Centre, PVR in Forum Fiza Mall, Alankar Udupi, Inox Manipal, Radhika Karkal, and Vinayak Kundapura.

The film stars Ahalya Suresh and Radhika Rao as the female leads along with other actors such as Prakash K Thuminadu, V J Vineeth, Karthik Varadaraj, Deepak Rai Panaje, and Roopa Warkadi.

The movie’s background music was composed by Prasad K Shetty, the screenplay was written by Manu Shedgar, and the cinematography was done by P John. Associate director Rakshith Rai and Art Director Mahesh Emuru were also responsible for the making of the “Lungi”.

Actress Ahalya Suresh, director Arjun Lewis, music director Prasad K Shetty, and others were present at the press conference.
