Mangaluru: After the total solar eclipse that was witnessed on December 26, 2019, the city is all set for a total lunar eclipse, a phenomenon that will occur tomorrow, January 10.
According to reports, the lunar eclipse will begin at 10.37 pm (IST) and end at 2.42 am (IST).
Tomorrow’s eclipse is also called the “Wolf Moon” as the moon will turn to a copper colour because of the earth’s shadow, completely engulfing it.
Director of the Swami Vivekananda Planetarium, Pilikula, Dr K V Rao has informed that all arrangements have been made at the planetarium for the public to view the eclipse.
The “Wolf Moon” will be visible in India, parts of Europe, parts of the Indian Ocean, Asia, Australia, North America, East of South America and Africa.
