11 Keralites go missing from Dubai, suspected to have joined ISIS

Kasargod: Two families hailing from Kerala have reportedly gone missing after having travelled to Dubai recently.

Sawad(35), his first wife Nasira, their children – Muhamil(11), Musab(6), Marjana(3) and Sawad’s second wife Rehanath(25) are missing.

As per a complaint filed by Abdul Hameed, father of the missing Nasira(25) and a resident of Mundukula, Chemmad there has been no communication whatsoever with the family since June 15.

Another family which includes Ansar, a resident of Anangoor, Kolampady, his wife Zenith and their three children who had travelled with Sawad’s family too have gone missing.

It is being suspected that they may have joined some terrorist organization. The police have begun investigations into the missing complaint.

Notably, reports of several people from Kerala being influenced by the ISIS has been doing the rounds. 15 persons who had gone missing from here A few months ago too are said to have joined ISIS.
