Mangaluru: A concrete road developed at the cost of Rs 32 lakh in Tendelthota in Ward no 49 near Capitanio was inaugurated by MLA J R Lobo here on Sunday.
Speaking after inauguration Lobo said, “To see the growth of a region, along with concretising main roads, it is necessary that bypass roads are developed. So we have given importance to development of roads and thereby to develop all the roads in urban as well as in rural areas. Many tar as well as mud roads have been concretised in this regard. Along with roads we will be focusing on developing the entire urban area with markets and bus stations with better facilities, he said.
Local corporator Praveen Chandra Alva urged MLA to give priority to develop rural roads.
Mahalingeshwara temple administrator K Devendra, B Prabhakar Shriyan of Red Cross, A V Bhat, lawyer Padmaraj, contractor Sharif, Shashidhar Kottary,Krithin Kumar, Umesh Devadiga, Deekshith, Nagendra and others were present.
