Mangaluru: The Mangaluru city police conducted a special drive against vehicles not bearing number plates on Wednesday, September 4.
During this special drive, a total of 75 vehicles were seized and the owners were fined by the police.
It can be noted that those involved in different illegal activities generally use the vehicles after removing the number plates to avoid getting caught. The police have, therefore, organised this special drive.
Mangaluru Commissioner of Police P S Harsha informed that the drive will continue over the next few days and also appealed to the public to put proper number plates to avoid inconveniences.
