Mangaluru: AJ Group of Institutions, under the guidance of its President A J Shetty sent two trucks and two cars laden with necessary relief materials to flood ravaged Kerala state and Kodagu district.
The relief material included essential medicines, rice, cloths etc. All these items along with medical teams were flagged off by Dr. A.J. Shetty and Dr. B. R. Ravikanthe Gowda, Superintendent of Police, D. K. District on August 21 from the A.J. Medical College and Hospital Campus. Vice President Prashanth Shetty, P. R. O. Abhilash P, Administrative Officer Dayanand Shetty, Coordinator Dr. Pradeep Senapathi were present.
Presently, two medical teams are providing primary medical and paramedical support and assistance in Kodagu and Alapuzha.
Dr. A.J. Shetty had already informed via letters to the Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Kerala assuring them medical and paramedical support and assistance wherever required. A. J. Shetty prayed for the flood affected families and hoped that the regions return to normalcy and the earliest.
