Puttur: Hndu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) leader Ratnakar Shetty who had absconded from the hospital on Wednesday, June 14 night has reportedly returned to the hospital.
It is gathered from hospital authorities that he was taken to Mangaluru for treatment purposes.

Puttur: Hndu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) leader Ratnakar Shetty who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kalladka under police supervision managed to flee from the hospital premises here on Wednesday, June 14 night.
Ratnakar Shetty had been hospitalized after he and Khaleel had stabbed each other on Tuesday fueling clash-like situation in the communally sensitive town of Kalladka.
It is gathered that the three cops on duty at the hospital had dozed off in the night hours and Shetty successfully escaped from the hospital.
The cops – head constable Radhakrishna, constable Ramesh Lamani and PSI Omana – were on Friday, June 15 suspended for negligence and dereliction of duty.
The police personnel are now on the lookout for him.
