Mangaluru: The National Highway at Adyar sees yet another collision case where a two wheeler passing the Arkula Dwara from an inner road was hit by a bus, causing an instant death.

The 34 year old has been identified as Charanraj and was a local resident of the place. The only son to his parents, and married for about a year now, leaving behind a wife and a child.

Locals, on viewing the accident, blamed the National Highways Authorities of India, which they felt, lacked the right amount of safety measures. They expressed their grievance on the highway’s unscientific work by blocking the traffic right away.

This was obvious from the sight of a barricade, which appeared to have been knocked down, letting the speeding bus take over, leading to the ultimate collision.

Locals sadly claim that this is not the first time that the negligence of the NHAI has led to an accident like this, and that there are ten such cases that have happened till date, which means it is high time the authorities did something about this.

The last time that a bike rider lost his life on the same road to a similar incident was in December, which led to many pleas from residents and locals that the authorities did something about this.
