Mangaluru: Animal Care Trust (ACT), Shaktinagar, in association with Early Learning Centre (ELC), Bejai, is organising a free adoption camp for desi pups and kittens on Sunday, February 9 from 10 AM to 7 PM.
The adoption camp will be held at the Early Learning Centre (ELC), Kottara Cross 1 st Lane, Bejai–Kapikad Road, Kotekani, Mangaluru.
Over 20 pups and 10 kittens will be put up for adoption during the camp, which is being organised as part of the ELC fete. Counters for face painting and cupcakes will also be present at the event.
ACT has been organising adoption camps regularly with an aim to provide forever loving homes for pups and kittens that have been abandoned. In 2019-20, the organisation was able to get 553 pups and kittens adopted over 27 camps in Mangaluru and the neighbouring areas.
Those who wish to adopt are required to get a valid photo ID proof for registration. Adopting families will also have access to advise about pet care at home.
