Mangaluru: A complaint has been lodged against Dharmendra, who is touting to be the General Secretary of the Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha, by the Mahasabha President Lohit Kumar Suvarna from Bengaluru at Barke Police Station here on Saturday September 18 alleging that he is misusing the name of the Mahasabha.

Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha has nothing to do with Saturday’s press conference held by Dharmendra. Despite being expelled from the organisation, he has been falsely claiming that he is the General Secretary of the Mahasabha, states Suvarna in the complaint.

The complaint added that further, Dharmendra held a press conference in the name of the Mahasabha and condemned the government’s action to demolish the Nanjanagudu temple in Mysuru. Not only that he also made a controversial remark, “we did not spare and assasinated even Gandhiji who went against Hindus, then you (Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai) are nothing and we are now considering something on the similar lines,” the complaint stated.

This has caused outrage on the social networking site, and thus Suvarna has urged Barke Police to take appropriate action against the man who threatened of assasination at a press conference. A case has been registered at Barke Police Station in this regard.

Meanwhile, Rajesh Pavithran, who is claiming to be Hindu Mahasabha State President has lauded the statements made by Dharmendra and stated that the FIR lodged against him is a plot by the BJP and is a blot to democracy.
