Kerala Resident Mohammed Hanif Alias Ali Munna in Custody
The individual in custody has been identified as Mohammed Hanif, also known as Ali Munna. Hailing from Manjeshwar in Kerala, Ali Munna is suspected of having close ties to the infamous underworld don, Ravi Poojary.
Fugitives with Multiple Arrest Warrants
Ali Munna, along with his accomplice Kali Yogesh, has been on the run, facing arrest warrants in numerous police stations across the district.

Many of these cases date back to 2010 and 2013, with allegations related to the shooting of Bevinja, a PWD contractor, as well as various thefts in Manjeshwar, Kumble, and Vidyanagar police station limits.

It is believed that Ali Munna and his associate Manish were responsible for overseeing Ravi Poojary’s underworld activities in Karnataka. While Manish met a tragic end at the hands of the Kodikere Manoj gang in Bengaluru, allegedly in retaliation for the murder of Kishan Hegde of Karkala, Ali Munna continued to evade authorities.

Ali Munna’s arrest came during an operation in Kerala, where he was allegedly involved in “Hafta Vasooli” or extortion activities. The joint effort, spearheaded by ACP Dhanya Nayak and Konaje police, successfully apprehended the fugitive.
