Moodbidri: The men’s team of Alva’s Education Foundation has emerged champions in state level invitation ball badminton tournament held at University Of Agriculture Science, Raichur on February 27 and 28.
The men’s team defeated Skalvi Astra of Bengaluru in the final with 35-30, 35- 21 points.
The tournament was organized by Raichur District Ball Badminton Association. As many as 20 teams took part in the tournament in which league and super league formats were used.
Kamadhenu Sports Club Bengaluru bagged the third place whereas the host Raichur District Ball badminton Association stood fourth.
