Sullia: In a tragic incident, a 48-year-old Anti-Naxal Force sleuth died due to cardiac arrest, during a combing operation at Haadikalu, Madpaadi Village of Sullia Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Rangaswamy from Badravathi. He was serving as head-constable in Karekatte ANF batallion.
It is gathered that during the combing operations against Naxals in Madpaadi dense forest, Rangswamy collapsed. Though his colleagues nursed him, he could not be saved. Later, he was brought to Madpaadi village and rushed to KVG hospital.
