Mangaluru: On Friday, another COVID-19 patient from the Dakshina Kannada district was discharged from the Wenlock Hospital after making a full recovery.

With this, a total of five out of the 12 CODVID-19 cases in the district have been discharged.

It can be recalled that just a few days ago, four COVID-19 patients, including a Bhatkal-based individual, were discharged from the Wenlock Hospital after recovery.

The person who was discharged from the hospital today arrived at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) from Dubai on March 21. As he had symptoms of COVID-19, he was admitted to the Wenlock hospital. He tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27. After the treatment at the hospital, he recovered and was discharged.

Meanwhile, there have been no new COVID-19 cases reported from the district for the past six consecutive days.
