Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district committee of the All Students’ Union condemned the actions of a fatal onslaught on student leaders by Ullal police in the press conference held here on Wednesday, March 17.
They said Ullal police arrested three student leaders who got beaten by the drunkards while returning from an educational awareness program. Instead of arresting assaulters they have arrested the victims and tortured them in their custody for 24 hours, they alleged.
They demanded immediate action against Sub Inspector Revanna Siddappa, ASI Manjanna, and Constable Ramesh of Ullal police station.
