Mangaluru: Princess, Miss, Mrs Forever Beautiful 2019, The First Annual Christian Beauty Couture Awards Auditions were held at the Mangalore Dance Academy of the city on July 28.
Scores of participants arrived for the auditions judged by Miss Teen Manipal 2019 Salomi Dsouza, singer and composer Melrick D’Souza and beat-boxer and music producer Swaroop Paul Maben. The previous auditions held at Canara Mall on July 21 was judged by Miss Manipal 2019 Laura Susan and Ashley Cornelio (Production head and partner OSC Events)
The auditions witnessed exceptional talent and performances from among the Christian community. The auditions were held for three categories- Princess (ages 13 to 17), Miss (ages 18 to 28) and Mrs (ages 18 and above). Apart from Mangaluru city, participants came from places as far as Bengaluru and even Mumbai to audition.
Online auditions were also held for contestants residing outside the city and who couldn’t attend the auditions. Through this feature over 78 contestants participated in the auditions. The organisers informed that the online auditions will be kept open till the mega auditions are held in Udupi and Mangaluru. The winners will get a chance to be the “ Face of the Brands” of the event’s associated brands, along with hampers, prizes, gifts, sashes, crowns, titles and subtitles.
The crowd gathered at the venue were treated to performances by Kimberly, Delfi, Varsha, Mamatha, and Swaroop Maben and Melrick’s “jugalbandhi” of “Apna Time Ayega”.

Ashley Cornelio, Production Head OSC and Johnson Event Head, OSC, Anish Anchan, Director, Mangalore Dance Academy were also present.
The organisers also held the first phase of auditions for SuperMoms of Karnataka, a unique talent and beauty pageant to be held at a state level of which the finale is scheduled to be held at Aryan Resorts from November 27 to December 1. This contest aims at providing an exposure to mothers who give their all to their families. The contest will have unique twists and turns during its online journey and special twists during live tasks. It is a one-of-its-kind contest that hopes to bring laurels to the ladies. The mother juggles with her priorities to accommodate those of her family’s and this contest would love to honor the best of them. This contest, apart from giving the “super moms” recognition, will also bring them out of their daily routines in a different way!
