Mangaluru: Special Parents Support Group in collaboration with Moms of Mangalore is organising an autism awareness walk at Kadri Park on Sunday April 24 at 4.30 pm.
Speaking to NewsKarnataka Meena Noronha of Special Parents Support Group said, “We are trying to make Mangaluru as an inclusive community for our special children.” Participants are expected to come dressed in blue.
The Moms of Mangalore is a social association of women who have brought women from all walks of life in the region together on a single platform to make a difference in people’s lives.
The Special Parents Support Group was established to bring special families together, to create a network of support, to assist and support one another, and to bring special children to the forefront of society in order to provide them with equal opportunities.
