Awareness prgm on CAA, NRC in M’luru: Route diversion in place from 9 am to 9 pm

Mangaluru: With Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arriving in the city to attend awareness programme on Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) at Gold Finch Ground in Bangra Kuloor on Monday, January 27, police department has made some necessary changes in traffic movement and diverted the routes for the convenience of the public.

According to the traffic advisory, the changes will be in force from 9 am to 9 pm on Monday, January 27. All vehicles coming from Udupi and Mangaluru City to the programme venue must be parked in designated slots for two-wheelers, cars and buses.

Vehicles coming from Udupi towards Bengaluru are requested to take diversion at Padubidri towards Karkala- Dharmastala- Shiradi Ghat.

Vehicles coming from Bengaluru to Mangaluru are requested to take diversion at Melkar- BC Road via Konaje- Thokkottu -Mangaluru. One more diversion at BC Road Kaikamba for those travelling from BC Road to Mangaluru via Polali – Kaikamba.

Vehicles coming from BC Road and Pumpwell are requested to take diversion from Nanthoor- Kaikamba – Moodbidri. Vehicles coming from Kottara Chowki are requested to take diversion from Kottara Chowki – KPT – Nanthoor – Moodbidri. Vehicles coming from the city are requested to take diversion at KPT-Nanthoor- Moodbidri.
