Beach clean-up by SSF at Sun Set Point

Mangaluru: Surfing Swami Foundation in collaboration with the Young Indians Mangaluru, organised a beach cleanup on November 8at Sun Set Point in Bengre, Mangaluru. 

The event was sponsored by Canara Bank and the beach clean-up was a great success. We collected over 400 Bags of segregated waste with the help of little children from the village and volunteering teams from Canara Bank, Young Indians, Monkey Mayhem, Mantra Surf Club, and people from in and around Mangalore. 

Director of Surfing Swami Foundation, Gaurav Hegde said, “The Foundation has already laid out a feasible master plan to tackle the garbage situation by bringing in a sustainable structure involving local communities, and government bodies in the coming months. “

Prakash Kalbavi(Owner of Kalbavi Cashews), J S Nayak, Madhukar Kudva, Chetan Bengre, Jayraj Karkera were also present at the venue this event a grand success.
