Bantwal: A biker died when his two-wheeler went off the road while trying to negotiate a sharp curve at Kalkatta of Vittal in the wee hours of February 6.
Pushparaj (20) of Kavalapadur in Karenki is the deceased.
He was returning home after attending a function in Kasaba village at 2 am on February 6. He lost control over the bike at a sharp curve near Kallakutta and hit the window slab of a house. He had a fatal fall with grievous head injuries.
Residents inside the house rushed out after hearing the sound of the impact .They tried to feed water but unfortunately he had died by then.
Later, they informed Vittal Police about the incident. Vittal police rushed to the spot even though his phone was switched off by then.
Vittal Sub Inspector Nagaraj has registered a case.
