Mangaluru: Briefing the media about the BJP State Executive Committee meeting held on Thursday, party spokesperson Capt Ganesh Karnik informed that during the meeting, it was observed that the party’s Page Pramukh initiative should seriously be implemented across Karnataka and that the office-bearers of BJP’s state unit should visit different districts to strengthen the party.
“It was also observed that the party’s Kutumba Milana initiative should be introduced in other parts of the state to bring more people into the party’s fold.,” he added.
During the meeting, it was also resolved to congratulate the Union Government for introducing the New Education Policy and amending three laws related to the agriculture sector, and congratulate Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa for effectively handling the flood and COVID-19 situation in the state.
The committee felt that the NEP 2020 would bring drastic changes in the education sector. It also felt that the government’s measure to amend the agriculture laws will help many farmers.
Captain Karnik added that the next meeting will be held in Belagavi on December 5.
State BJP General Secretary Mahesh Tenginkai and State BJP Media Coordinator Karunakar were also present.
