Mangaluru: On the sidelines of week-long padayatra in Kerala against killing of Hindu leaders, BJP National president Amit Shah will be arriving in Mangaluru today at around 6pm.
Shah will be taken in huge procession to Talapady with 250 to 300 accompanying him. After his visit to Kerala, he will return to Mangaluru on October 3. On October 4 he will be attending party meeting at Ocean Pearl hotel in the presence of state party leaders and office-bearers. On the same day, at 5pm he will be attending another meet at TMA Pai convention centre.
Following Shah’s visit to Mangaluru, several BJP leaders including state BJP Chief B S Yeddyurappa will be in city to discuss major decisons ahead of assembly elections next year.
Police have beefed up security across the city following Shah’s visit.
