Mangaluru: Two youth were nabbed by BJP supporters for distributing morning daily newspaper copies carrying news material against Mangaluru South BJP candidate Vedavyas Kamath.
It is learnt that four youth-Yashawant Prabhu, Shekar Poojary, Sushanth and Yashodar were distributing these newspapers in Shakthinagar, Kandettu and Gundalike respectively. Acting on a tip off, the BJP supporters who were campaigning around these places apprehended the youth. Shekar and Sushant fled the scene as soon as they sensed danger.
The other two youth have been taken to Kadri Police Station. It is said that one of them is the member of Youth Congress.
