Mangaluru: In view of upholding the failure of the Congress government and the plans BJP has in store for backward classes, the Dakshina Kannada unit of the BJP will be organizing a special meet with the backward community leaders at Sanghaniketan here on November 2.
Addressing the media at the BJP office here on Tuesday, October 27, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Vice-President Sathish Kumpala said that the Congress had promised various facilities and provisions to the people belonging to backward classes. But it has failed miserably in keeping them up.
He further stated that the state government has not been able to reach out to the poor and that none of the Central government’s initiatives are accomplished in the state.
Karnataka State BJP President Kota Srinivas Poojary, DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former minister Arvind Limabavali, Sriramulu, Ravu nayak Belamagi and Govind Karajola, Vidhana Parishad member DS Veeraiah and State Secretary Rekha Huliappa Gowda will be present for the meet.
