Mangaluru: BJP Yuva Morcha district unit will stage agitations in Gram Panchayat across the Dakshina Kannada district demanding ban on PFI, SDPI, KFD; handing over cases of murder of Hindu activists to CBI and dropping of district in-charge minister from the cabinet.
Harish Poonja, President of Dakshina Kannada Yuva Morcha, said that involvement of PFI and KFD in the murders of Sangh Parivar activists had been proven. These organisations are responsible for disrupting communal harmony in the society through their activities, he added.
The “Mangaluru Chalo” bike rally from five divisions of the state will enter the district on September 6, he informed.
The bike rally team coming from Mysore-Madikeri will halt at Sullia, group from Bengaluru-Hassan, Sakleshpura, will halt at Nellyadi-Uppinangady, those from Chikkamagaluru-Mudigere-Charmadi at Ujire-Belthangady, Shimogga-Agumbe team at Karkala and Hubballi-Murdeshwara at Brahmavara.
On September 7, these groups will together commence their bike rally to Nehru Maidan in Mangaluru.

Rally from Sullia-Puttur, Mani, B C Road, Uppinangady via Padil-Pumpwell, Kankanady, Valencia to Nehru Maidan.
Belthangady-B C Road-Padil to Nehru Maidan
Moodbidri-Yeddapadavu, Vamanjuru via Bikarnakatte, Nanthooru-City Hospital-Bunts Hospital-Jyothi-Hampankatte-Nehru Maidan.
Rally from Udupi-Kaup-Surathkal via Kottara, Chowki-Urwa Store, Lady Hill Circle PVS, K S Rao Road to Nehru Maidan.
BJP state leader B S Yeddyurappa, State President of BJP Yuva Morcha Prathap Simha and Lok Sabha MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will take part in the protest.
