Blood Donation Camp in memory of Marhum Sharif collects 110 units

Amtoor(Bantval taluka): A public blood donation camp was held in memory of Sharif Amtoor, who passed away after an accident recently.

The programme was organised on behalf of Souharda Friends Amtoor in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, and Blood Bank Mangalore at Devamatha School Amtoor. It was inaugurated by Mustafa Sahdi, Khateeb of Jumma Masjid Amtoor, Badria and presided over by Reverend Father Paul Pinto of Mother of God Church Mogarnadu.

A prominent person of Sri Mantradevata Sanidhya Amtoor, Manoj Kumar Kattemar presided over the programme. Mangalore University Professor Dr Yashukumar D, Devamata School Amtoor teacher Emiliana Dcunha, Abdul Razak Amjadi, and Panchayat member Raghava Pujari were present. Asif Amtoor welcomed and greeted the guests. The camp witnessed a lot of goodwill and collected 110 units of blood given by blood donors of all religions in the programme.
