BoB Mangaluru Zone felicitates Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty

Mangaluru: Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru Zone felicitated Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty (“Sadanna”), a visionary known for his generosity and contributions in various fields such as sports, education, hotels serving various sections of society.

Ramesh Kanade, Deputy Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru Zone welcomed the gathering. Speaking on the occasion Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangaluru South expressed his memories and said that as a youth he had approached “Sadanna” on various occasions while conducting sports events and he always stretched his hand forward and provided his support generously.

He also expressed his appreciation towards the Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru Zone for organizing such an event of felicitation to a great philanthropist and congratulated Ghayathri R, Zonal Head for being so well connected and participative with the people of Mangaluru.

Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty spoke about his respect towards Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty for his contributions to society and regarded him as a legendary person par excellence, a man who has generated livelihood to numerous individuals. He also said that Vijaya Bank and now Bank of Baroda have been an integral part of his life.

Ghayathri R., General Manager & Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru Zone conveyed her admiration towards Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty; spoke about the various developments of the Bank, reduction of interest rate for Home and Car Loans, thanked the customers for their patronage towards the Bank and also expressed her gratitude to the people of Mangaluru for the hospitality, warmth & acceptance.

Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Mayor, Mangaluru narrated a few instances of generous gestures of Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty supporting students to pursue and continue their studies by lending his helping hand. Premanand Shetty, Ex-Mayor also spoke at the event and lauded the good works of Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty. Edrich Ajay Dsouza, Bank of Baroda provided the glimpses of achievements of legendary Dr Attur Sadananda Shetty. M.V. S. Prasad, Regional Manager, Mangaluru City rendered the vote of thanks.
