Body of 11-year-old girl recovered from Kulur river in M’luru

Mangaluru: According to the sources, the body of the 11-year-old girl, who had gone missing from her Kudroli house on Sunday October 24, was discovered in the afternoon from the Kulur river.

The deceased has been identified as Mufeeda, Salam’s daughter, who resided on Hyderali Road in Kudroli. According to sources, she was specially-abled.

As per the nearby CCTV footage, the girl was found walking alone towards the river, which was a few hundred metres away from her home on Sunday at around 8.00 am.

The girl is believed to have gone out without her family’s knowledge while they were busy with household chores.

According to sources, Bunder Police took the body to the Wenlock Hospital for autopsy.

Further investigation is on.
