Kasaragod: Adoor police arrested all the accused persons in connection with a murder case, in which one person had died and two sustained grievous injuries, in a clash between two football club teams in Bovikana.
Kalam Mohammad (47) of Bovikana, Farooq (30) of Bavikkara, Ashraf (28) and Hasan Zunaif (30) were arrested by police. They had earlier nabbed Ahmed Naseer (33), a resident of Bovikana and Sali (26), a resident of Muliyaru Balanadka.
After the murder, prime accused Naseer had fled in an auto rickshaw. Then he had switched over to bike and later, a car to reach Vittal.
The police also seized the bike and the car used by the accused to escape after the murder incident which belonged to Farooq and Ashraf respectively.
It may be recalled a brawl between two teams led to the murder of Abdul Khadar at Bovikkana club on December 1.
The police are on the lookout for the auto rickshaw used by the accused to escape from the murder scene.
