Mangaluru: Vehicles, specifically the buses crushing the tubular traffic reflector cones installed along the bus bays in the city is a common scene. Even as these drivers think they can get away doing this, a bus driver was booked under Prevention of Destruction and Loss of Property Act by the Mangaluru City Traffic Police.
As per sources, the cops acted on a picture tweeted to them to @compolmlr, using the hashtag #kudlatraffic. The cops booked a case against the driver and filed a charge sheet before the JMFC Second Court.
The bus has been seized. It is said that each reflect cones cost about Rs 1500.
