On Monday morning, a Duster car suddenly burst into flames near Kudkoli on the Bantwal-Moodbidri Road. Fortunately, the occupants of the car noticed the fire and safely evacuated the vehicle. Fire service personnel promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames. However, the incident led to a one-hour traffic blockade on both sides of the road.
The car, belonging to Sharath Shetty of Kollettu, reportedly caught fire due to a short circuit in the car battery.
