Kasargod: A car ran down a gorge near Vamanjur check post in Manjeshwar district late on Sunday night killing one person on spot and leaving two injured. However, the police have sprung into action to probe into the case because a revolver was also recovered from the car.
The deceased are Samshuddin (28). The injured persons are Mohommed Amir (30) and Abdul Lathif (29) from Uppala and they are undergoing treatment.
The police reportedly had a tough time lifting the mangled remained of the Alto car in which the trio was plying.
It is said that the driver lost control over the vehicle leading to the gruesome accident.
