Mangaluru: Police took quick action in the incident where a woman was seen throwing garbage over the fence of Netravati bridge.
A video of a woman throwing a large white bag of waste into the river from the Nethravati Bridge had gone viral on social media on Saturday, May 1.
A woman in the video has identified as Rachna Nayak was driving Car with Reg No KA03NB4648. The car was seized by Kankanady police, who filed a case in response to a complaint filed by a Mangaluru City Corporation senior health officer.
Since the occupants of the car were not wearing masks, the police have asked the district magistrate to file a case under the Disaster Management Act.
