Mangaluru: The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has released Rs 2 Crore to Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Venur.
The Centre has sanctioned the amount in recognition of SDM Institute’s service and achievements in the field of education.
SDM Educational Society Secretary Dr. B Yashovarma who disclosed this information at a press conference said that the amount would be utilised for the extension of skill development activities in Ujire.
“The amount will be used for the management of the institute, improve the skills of the faculties, extended training for the students and installing modern machinery,” said Dr. B Yashovarma.
