Mangaluru: In the 2018 IIT JEE examination, CFAL student Navaneesha secured the highest score in the city with a score of 303 out of 360 marks. With this score, he is among the toppers of Karnataka in the examination. As many as 15 students from the institute have scored marks above 150 which is considered very good score in this exam.
For three consecutive years, CFAL students have been the toppers in Mangalore in JEE Main exams. Considering the difficulty of this examination, this is a remarkable achievement. Dhanush (2016), Aditya Upadhyaya (2017) and Navaneesha (2018) were toppers in Mangalore.
Majority of the students studying at CFAL have qualified to appear for JEE Advanced-2018. The institute attributed the success to the consistent mentoring, individual attention and a strong foundation in STEM subjects.
