‘Children’s Day’ painting competition by News Karnataka

Mangaluru: News Karnataka is hosting a painting competition on November 19 in celebration of Children’s Day. The competition is open to two age categories of children. Students in classes 1 to 3 are invited to participate in the theme “My Favorite Cartoon Factor,” while students in classes 4 to 7 can take part in the theme “My Dream Kudla.”

On November 19, the competition will take place at Fiza by Nex Mall, Pandeshwara, 3rd Floor, City. Participants can register online for the event, and spot registration is also available with an entry fee of Rs 100 per participant. For further details, please contact +91 76762 18092.

The competition rules are outlined as follows:

  • Registration can be submitted via WhatsApp to +91 76762 18092.
  • The entry fee of Rs 100 should be paid using the QR code provided in the poster.
  • After making the payment, participants are required to send a screenshot of the transaction to the provided WhatsApp number.
  • Participants must arrive at the venue one hour in advance to register their names.
  • The registration desk will be available, and no registrations will be accepted 15 minutes after the competition begins.
  • The registration process will commence at 2 pm.
  • The competition is scheduled to start at 3 pm.
  • Participants are required to present their organization’s ID card; otherwise, registration will be rejected.
  • Participants should bring the necessary stationery or sketching materials for the competition.
  • Drawing sheets will be provided by the organizers.
  • The theme for students in classes 1 to 3 is “My Favourite Cartoon Character.”
  • Students in classes 4 to 7 will participate in a competition with the theme “My Dream Kudla.”
  • Participants will have 1 hour and 30 minutes for drawing.
  • Artwork may include drawing, painting, or sketching.
  • The artwork can be created using dry colors (crayon, pencil, stadler, dry pastel), watercolors (cake, water, poster, and acrylic dyes), or oil-based dyes (oil color/canvas).
  • Organizers have the right to use these artworks.
  • Participants’ names and addresses may be featured on platforms, exhibitions, and various media.
  • The jury’s decision is final, and participants must adhere to it.
  • Results and prize distribution will be announced at the venue after some time.
  • Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
  • Snacks will be provided to the participants.
