Bantwal: The grotto of Christ the King Church in Punacha-Toranakatte was vandalised by unidentified miscreants here on Saturday, May 18.
According to police, some miscreants shattered the grotto’s glass plane at around 10.30 AM today.
Vitla Police Inspector Yallappa rushed to the spot with his team and conducted an inquest.
The vicar of the church has demanded stringent action against the miscreants.
A case has been registered at Vitla Police Station.
