Mangaluru: The PG department of Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC) of St Aloysius (Autonomous) College, will conduct ‘Schwimmen’, a two-hour talk and interactive session regarding the importance of swimming, for the parents of special children on March 29 from 12 PM to 2 PM at the Arivu intervention centre, Shakthi Nagar, Mangaluru.
The event is being conducted in collaboration with Arivu, (An early intervention centre for special children and people with learning ability). Sarath Kumar (swimming instructor) will be the speaker for the session.
Many of the people are not aware of the importance of swimming for physical fitness, especially in special children. The aim of this awareness programme is to bring to light the relevance of swimming for the health of the children.
