Ullal: Aaliyah Institute of Nursing at Ullal as been sealed off by the city municipality, for a precautionary measure, as forty students from neighbouring Kerala have tested positive for COVID-19, official sources said.
40 students from Kerala studying in the college tested positive for COVID-19 after which the district health officer, nodal officer and himself visited the college and issued the order, said Municipal Commissioner Rayappa. Other students have been isolated from the infected after the area was sealed.
Rayyappa informed that this is just a precautionary measure and people need not panic. Students coming from Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have been directed to take mandatory COVID-19 test before attending college.
