Belthangady: “Drugs, alcohol, rape, theft etc are all weaknesses of a human being. If this is not disclosed with the concerned people, it can become a habit and later, turn into addiction. If one overcomes these weaknesses, then transformation is definitely possible,” said Dharmasthala Dharmidhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
Addressing the gathering at the 148th Special Rehabilitation Camp organized by the Akhila Karnataka Janajagrathi Vedike he said, “The face is like a mirror of one’s heart. Whatever you feel is visible on the face. The one leading a positive life can easily be noticed through his/her conduct. Similarly, addicts behave in a strange and weird manner. It is important that one leads a life with self-respect and determination. In the name of revenge, friends, sadness, celebration etc people get addicted to alcohol. It is necessary that an individual makes his mind stronger and leads a positive life. Girls and women should not keep any kind of revenge in their minds and forget the past and move into the future.”
During the camp, there was also an interactive session.
The next camp will be held on December 16.
