Mangaluru: Congress leader and Former MLA UR Sabapathi on Wednesday informed that Congress will hold ‘Karnataka Navanirmana Congress Sadhana Jatha’, a campaign displaying developmental scheme under Siddaramaiah led Congress government in state through various tableaux.
Addressing a press meet at Congress Bhavan on January 24, Sabapathi said that development programmes of Siddaramaiah lead Congress in the state will be displayed in 25 tableau.
‘Karnataka Navanirmana Sadhana Jatha’ will be held from Febrauary 3 to 6 covering nearly 300KM in the coastal region. The procession will be held from Talapadi to Karwar and will be flagged by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal from Talapadi, he added.
He further said, “Congress party leaders of state will take part in the campaign. There will be 12 public meetings in various places during the ‘Karnataka Navanirmana Sadhana Jatha.”
