Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath informed that the Covid Wenlock Hospital has been working well and that the medical fraternity has been working hard to handling the cases. However, the Congress leaders are misguiding the public claiming that the Covid-19 test reports from the Wenlock Hospital are inaccurate.
Speaking to the reporters here on Friday, May 8, Kamath said that since the COVID-19 outbreak, the Wenlock Hospital and members of the medical fraternity have been working very hard.
“Due to their selfless service, a total of 13 persons recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged from the hospital. However, former MLA J R Lobo had stated that the Wenlock Hospital’s test reports are inaccurate. Instead of boosting the morale of the healthcare workers, Lobo has been discouraging them,” he said.
Kamath also accused the Congress workers of instigating the migrant workers’ protest that was witnessed earlier today. “The district administration has been sending the migrant labourers to their native villages. However, today’s protest was orchestrated by Congress leaders,” he added.
