Cops close down shops in M’luru to follow the revised guidelines of Covid 19

Mangaluru: Amid the second wave of Covid-19, the Karnataka government on Thursday issued fresh guidelines to be followed by the people to control the spread of the virus.

In the revised guidelines, the government restricted all shops except essential services to operate.

On Friday, April 23,  several clothes, watches, shoe shops were open in the city market area were closed down by local cops under the supervision of Police Commissioner Shashikumar. Only shops dealt with essential services allowed to remain open.

The cops then also raised awareness among the people to follow guidelines issued by the government to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
