Covid vaccination drive for workers at KIOCL Limited

Mangaluru: A COVID-19 vaccination drive was organized at KIOCL Limited, Pellet Plant unit, Panambur, on Tuesday, April 6, which will extend till April 8, between 9:30 am and 4pm. This was conducted in association with District Health Authority and Primary Urban Health Centre, Kulur-Kunjathbail, for the benefit of all employees and contract workers, who are more than 45 years old and presently working at KIOCL Limited.

The drive was organized as a preventive measure against COVID-19 and to contain further spreading of Corona Virus in the areas. 

At the inaugural function on April 6, Chief Guest of the programme Dr Sujay Bhandary, Taluk Health Officer, highlighted the importance of availing COVID vaccination in order to protect themselves from the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic. He advised to continuously adhere to the preventive health measures and COVID protocols strictly and regularly.

AVS Bhat, General Manager I/c., appreciating the concern and the efforts of Primary Urban Health Centre towards containing the spreading of COVID-19 Pandemic, sought necessary medical help and cooperation in future also. The General Manager (BFU) Dasappa Shetty and Sr Manager (HR&A) S.Murgesh were present during the occasion.
