Mangaluru: Dr. Anand K., Chief Executive Officer of the Dakshina Kannada District Panchayat, has emphasized the need to provide extensive information about dengue prevention. He was speaking at an awareness event about dengue organized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Dakshina Kannada district at the press club on Monday.
Dengue is not just a fever; it is a viral fever spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. Public awareness about this is essential. Dr. Anand K. has emphasized the necessity of adopting proactive measures to prevent this, and he has provided information on this matter. The dengue awareness campaign vehicle, set up to travel throughout the district, was actively promoting information about dengue.
