Dabak Daba Aisa leak row: Cops keep close tabs on cyber centres, mobile recharge shops

Karkala: Following the pre-release leak of Tulu film ‘Dabak Daba Aisa’, the Karkala police have plunged into action. While close tabs have been kept on cyber centres and mobile shops in Karkala town, film theatres running here have specifically warned.

Meanwhile, sources in the police department said that crucial information about a mobile recharge shop in Bhuvanendra College charging Rs 20 per download of the said Tulu movie clipping has come to light. A person in this regard has been taken it custody following a complaint. It is said that the man in police custody has revealed several names, who could be behind the leak.

The film starring Devdas Kapikad, Naveen Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor and Arvind Bolar was slated to release in next two weeks.
