Mangaluru: The Dashina Kannada district administration has relaxed the lockdown rules from 7 am to 7 pm from May 4 onwards. The relaxations will not be applicable in containment zones.
A press release in this regard, from Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh stated that movement of autos, cabs, private cars and bikes will be allowed. However, while two passengers will be allowed in the car at a time, no pillion will be allowed on a bike.
Shops in localities, petty shops, shops functioning in residential complexes will be allowed function.
Only shops selling essential goods/services can open in market areas and market complexes.
Private companies and offices can resume operations with 33 per cent workforce.
Industrial establishments in urban areas like Special Economic Zones (SEZ), export oriented units, industrial estates and industrial townships will be allowed.
All construction activities in rural areas including MGNREGA works, food processing units among others will be allowed.
e-commerce firms can open for only essential services.
Construction work in urbans areas can resume with in-site/local workers.
Outpatient Departments and medical clinics will be permitted to operate with social distancing norms and other safety precautions.
Malls, theatres, Bar and Restaurants, hotels, gyms, sports facilities, clubs, swimming pools, parks, saloons, spa, beauty parlours, textile and garmet shops, religious places will remain closed.
Travel by air rail and interstate movement by road, schools and colleges and other educational and training/coaching institutions will not be allowed.
Social, religious and cultural gatherings will not be allowed.
All services will remain closed from 7 pm to 7 am.
